Tony Liberatore’s been shooting off, as reported on the AFL’s web site.
To call for the coach’s head is one thing — it’s almost expected — but to call for Campbell Rose’s sacking is ridiculous. The club’s turning a profit for the first time in years, we’re about to open the best training facilities in the league, and we’ve got one of the highest regarded tactical minds coaching our team. None of this would’ve been possible without Smorgon or Rose’s leadership.
Libber, we appreciate that you’re passionate about your club, but running your mouth like this is far more divisive and destabilising than anything Rose has been up to. How about talking the club up and giving the young boys a sense of being part of a history?

By day, he works for ABC TV as a web developer. By night, he plays bass guitar in Look Who's Toxic. He also runs a little Unix Timestamp conversion site. There are plenty of other things he should be doing, but most of the time he's dreaming of what he'll do when he grows up while watching bad Star Trek spin-offs.
